Indie Boulevard Magazine Reviews “Do What I Want To Do” Single

Louis Emory Do What I Want to Do - Indie Boulevard Magazine November 2024 Issue

Our friends over at Indie Boulevard responded with adulation when we sent them the new single off the upcoming EP, The Siege. The rawness and realness of “Do What I Want to Do” seems to have struck a chord. Gabriel Rivera writes:

“Louis Emory’s voice carries that signature rasp, speaking of days lived and sleepless nights endured. He brings a vibe like Bob Dylan, as if it’s the morning after a long journey, and after a strong coffee and a cigarette, he starts to sing his truth. It captivates, pulling you in from the first notes. This song is where you feel the strength of true rock ‘n’ roll: not the kind done for show but the kind that reflects the struggle against prejudice.”

We were even more stoked to see that our brief review was featured as a mention on the cover of the November Issue.
